DEAR GIRL

You are becoming.

You are growing, and not only in age or appearance. Your thoughts, choices, friendships, habits, questions, experiences and responses are helping to form the woman you are becoming.

Formation requires more than being told that you are beautiful or special. It requires knowledge to recognize what is true, understanding to make sense of experience, wisdom to choose responsibly, courage to speak and discipline to practise.

You do not have to know everything today. Growth has stages. You are allowed to learn slowly, ask questions, make mistakes, receive correction and begin again.

THE SEED

“A seed does not become a tree in one afternoon.”

Becoming is not a race. Formation has stages.

THE FORTY-DAY JOURNEY

From seed to responsible womanhood

01DAYS 1–8

I Am a Seed

Knowing Who I Am

Beginning with identity, value, voice, body, questions and the freedom to grow without becoming someone else.

02DAYS 9–16

Guarding My Inner World

Thoughts · Feelings · Fear · Memory

Learning to examine thoughts, understand feelings, respond wisely to fear and become conscious of what is entering and shaping the inner world.

03DAYS 17–24

Wisdom for My Choices

Boundaries · Friendship · Discipline

Discovering that choices plant seeds, that saying no can be wise, and that friendship, pressure, mistakes and daily practice help shape the future.

04DAYS 25–32

Developing What Is Inside Me

Knowledge · Skill · Creativity · Stewardship

Developing abilities through learning, skill, courage, creativity, money wisdom, stewardship of time and the willingness to begin.

05DAYS 33–40

Becoming a Woman Who Gives Life

Strength · Relationship · Legacy

Bringing strength and kindness together, building healthy relationships, learning across generations and participating responsibly in the future.

GUARDING THE INNER WORLD

Not every thoughtdeserves agreement.

A thought can feel powerful without being accurate. Learning to pause and examine what enters the mind is part of growing in wisdom.

Feelings also matter without automatically becoming instructions. They can be listened to, understood and responded to wisely.

The young girl is therefore taught not simply what to think, but how to examine thoughts, emotions, fear and repeated influences.

VOICE · BODY · BOUNDARIES

Respect does not requireyour disappearance.

Girls are encouraged to ask questions, use their voices responsibly, recognize appropriate boundaries, say no when necessary and seek a trustworthy adult when something is wrong.

WISDOM FOR MY CHOICES

Every choice plants a seed.

I CAN SAY NO
CHOOSE FRIENDS WISELY
PRESSURE IS NOT PERMISSION
DISCIPLINE PROTECTS MY FUTURE
MISTAKES CAN TEACH ME
WHAT I PRACTISE, I STRENGTHEN
I DO NOT HAVE TO FOLLOW THE CROWD
MY FUTURE NEEDS MY PARTICIPATION

DEVELOPING WHAT IS INSIDE ME

Your future needs more than a dream.

The journey introduces the girl to knowledge, skill development, creativity, money wisdom and stewardship of time.

She is encouraged to learn difficult things, develop what is already within her, use her hands creatively and begin before she feels completely ready.

Potential matters. But potential must be developed.

WOMEN · GIRLS · GENERATIONS

Another girl isnot my enemy.

The final days move beyond individual development toward healthy relationships between girls, learning from older women and helping the girl who is coming behind.
